Having won all of the top crowns in women’s downhill ski racing, Lindsey Vonn has set her sights on a new goal: competing against the best male ski racers in the world.

Vonn, a four-time overall women’s World Cup champion and five-time downhill titleholder, has asked FIS, the sport’s world governing body, for permission to compete in the men’s downhill race Nov. 24 in Lake Louise, Alberta.
