On Wednesday, Lohan appeared in court and was arraigned on two charges – felony grand theft and probation violation.

The troubled actress, who denies the charges, has been released on $40,000 bail but faces a jail term if she is convicted.

'I would never steal, in case people are wondering,' she wrote. 'I was not raised to lie, cheat or steal.

Lohan is accused of stealing a gold chain from jewellery boutique Kamofie and Company, based in the Venice area of LA. Lindsay Lohan might have pleaded not guilty to felony grand theft in court yesterday for lifting a pricy necklace, but looks like she may be guilty of an even more fashionable crime—her outfit.

Lohan was earlier ordered to stand trial in June on a reduced, misdemeanor charge of stealing a $2,500 necklace in January.
The judge ruled that the jewelry incident was a probation violation and sentenced her to 120 days jail and 480 hours community service.
