Replying to Charlesf. Looking at Webb2016.com it seems that he is indeed considering an run as an independent. So I suppose we'd better keep this open in case he wins.

Or is that too far-fetched?

I think he dropped out of the race as a Democrat but may still run for President as an independent or as a member of a different party. Does the question end if he is out as a Democrat or continue because he may still be a candidate for President?
